Simply the best! 20+ years ago, I bought a dining table, chairs and sideboard from Paul. This purchase was done from Australia for a new home I was building in Washington State.Fast forward and I'm building another new home now and wanted to add a few matching barstools. Despite not having built barstools for many years and no longer having templates, Paul remembered me and offered to build them himself--that's true customer service! He even built a couple for himself! At the Student Union at San Jose State University, we sought to replace our meeting room table for our Board of Directors. The designs we saw from Paul Downs seemed to fit what we were looking for. From the first contact with Tom, we felt we were in good hands and we were right. Nancy the designer assigned to our account worked with us and gave us outstanding advice when it came to achieving the result we were looking for in a rich statement piece. Andy and his team guided us through the build sending updates and photos along the way. The entire experience was seamless and the results were beyond our expectations! We ordered a new conference table for my work center. Paul Downs company was friendly and helpful throughout the design and development phase. We had 3 graphics added to the table top, and chose under table wiring for power. They were responsive and helped every step of the way. Sending us concept pictures until we had it set the way we wanted, with several changes on our side, and they made suggestions on location of power to maximize convenience and ergonomic ease. They shipped in a crate, very well packed and protected from damage. It arrived the day they said it would. All parts to install were provided, it included tools for tightening the fasteners, but we opted for our power tools to speed up the process. It looks great, and my boss is pleased. We've already recommended them to two other locations for possible purchases

Mr. Downs,I wanted to write to you to thank you and tell you what a wonderful experience I had working with the Paul Downs Custom Table and Furniture staff on creating and crafting a new conference table for our police department. We had a vision for the table but, Tom H.(Client Relationship Manager), Nancy D. (Design Engineer) and Carolina C.(Project Manager) were all able to make it come into fruition and make it better and more beautiful than I expected. Each step of the process was seamless all the way though from the beginning stages of an idea to the shipping and it arriving on our doorstep. I especially want to thank and recognize Carolina C. for her kindness and professionalism in assisting me with this project. I also want to acknowledge and thank the men and women crafters that handmade our table. It is beautiful, and so well made. I know it will be a statement piece in our station for many years to come.

They worked with us to help us stay within budget, and the actual table itself far exceeded expectations. We hired Paul Downs to build a custom conference room table as we had a narrow room so needed a custom table. We were blown away by the service, communication and attention to detail from start to finish and couldn't be happier. Their team worked with us to ensure it was the perfect fit for our use, worked with our IT Team to develop the integrated AV in the table, sent sample woods, etc. Everyone we worked with was truly top notch and reminds you how business used to be.

Our experience with Paul Downs Cabinetmakers was absolutely terrific. We were challenged with finding a table solution to an odd-sized room that would meet our seating requirements. Paul took the time to completely understand our requirements and used photos we provided of the space to develop the best solution. The renderings he provided of the finished product in the conference room were extremely helpful in us visualizing how the finished table would look and fit in the room. Along the way we were kept updated about the order progress and it was delivered ahead of the projected timeline. We bought more than a table - we now have a statement piece in our office which reflects positively on our business.

From the initial consultation to final delivery Paul Downs exceeded expectations on every level. After providing just photographs of our boardroom a few days in advance, we first met with Nate to find him already prepared with a gorgeous 3D rendering of the room accurate down to the location of every light fixture and wall socket. In the virtual room he was able to preview several table types and make expert recommendations for the space tailored to our needs and budget, and the price quoted made the 100% custom table a fantastic value. Once our order was placed the project management team immediately took over with excellent communication and dynamic assistance designed to get our table shipped incredibly fast with everything needed to build it including custom full color instructions. The table went together in an amazingly easy and thoughtful way by untrained staff requiring no special skills or tools. Ultimately the whole project was executed perfectly with results our executives loved while being under budget and weeks ahead of schedule. To top it all off we got a personal thank you from Paul Downs himself. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They harken back to a time where high-quality furniture was made in America for Americans and there was no level of service or value that was too high... a rarity for any company these days.
