The World Bank called us on July 31st, 2011, with a unique request: could we make an open oval-shaped table, with plenty of wiring to handle their translation units, to match their architecturally significant interior, that can be assembled and disassembled by 2 people in 8 hours or less. (The room is used for a variety of meetings.) One last thing: they had distinguished guests arriving, so they needed the table in place by September 9. Less than five weeks away. The Paul Downs team completed a design that same day, and got approval to proceed the next morning. We fabricated and installed this table on time and on budget.
